HAPPY MISFIT DAY!!!!
I spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday with Victory Photography in Downtown Charlotte (the home of Heroes Con!) making these pictures for today!!! The full album is on Facebook on my page Hyperactive Hero. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them!!
I thought maybe you’d bounced to Metropolis, because no way is Gotham that bright!

LMAO!!!! OH MY GODS! XD This was so FUNNY!!! ‘Jesus’s People’ surrounded the perimeter of the San Diego Convention Center during SDCC 2013. I managed to get these hilarious snap shots of Deadpool trying to hug this one guy. He actually tried to get a real hug before this guy turned around and said “Sir, can you please not do that?”
A few of my favorite pictures from San Diego Comic Con 2013! :)
you’re such an awesome black alice!
*blushes* Thank you!! ^^

San Diego Comic Con 2013 was both amazing & stressful all at the same time. I have to admit that with SDCC 2011—my first time going—I felt much more at ease, not to mention much more connected to the people I met. I got a bit of that with SDCC 2013, but not nearly as much as I’d hoped. SDCC 2011 I was able to go to 90% of all the panels I wanted to go to. SDCC 2013 I only went to two, and didn’t get into any of my first choice panels. That’s alright. Most of these panels I was able to find online. Haven’t watched them yet, but I know where they are if I choose to watch them. ;-)
That said, I was so incredibly blessed with the presence of Gail Simone & her husband, Scott, Paul Dini, Ashley Scott, Anthony Misiano, & Alyssa King. It was wonderful seeing old friends, & getting the opportunity to meet new friends. I was happy to connect with them again. :)
As for cosplay, I have to give a shout out to my friend, Jessica Nova for making my Black Alice costume! I wore it on Friday and loved every second of it! Thursday I had dressed as Black Alice in street clothing, Saturday I attempted Black Alice Joker/Harley. Didn’t work out the way I wanted it to…Face paint wasn’t right. Sunday I was going to cosplay Death, but skipped that because I just wanted to walk the convention floor and make connections with people, be it professional or personal.
If anything, I have to say that SDCC 2013 was another good learning opportunity for me, and gives me some good ideas of what I need to do to prepare for NYCC 2013 in all areas: Networking, cosplay, & portfolio.
Does anyone know of anyone who is a professional photographer in the NYC area that can take some professional photos of me in my Black Alice Mary Marvel costume? Thank you. :)
